I have DELL laptop and 2 DELL monitors. The connection is monitor - monitor - laptop. This has been working for years. Now, today, the monitor in the middle is black. I haven't done any updates/changes and already tried with two different laptops (win 10 and win 11). The monitor is recognized, windows are moved there but the monitor remains black. Switching off and power off didn't help. The buttons on the monitor also don't do anything, the menu is not displayed, the screen remains black whatever I do. But the monitor is switched on, the connection through it (to the other monitor) works, the USBs work.
I have no clue from hardware... what is going on? Can I repair it somehow? Or do I need another monitor? I found a similar 10 years old question here but couldn't solve my issue...
