I have a MacBook Pro M4 which I'm currently using with its lid closed, with two monitors plugged in. They are both running at 1920x1080, at 60 hertz, and each displays different content (as opposed to just mirroring each other). I'm plugging one of those monitors in the HDMI port and the other to an USB C port using an HDMI to USB adapter.
I'd like to buy a USB hub with two HDMI ports so I can just use a single port in my MacBook to plug both monitors and my USB peripherals (bonus points if it can also power the laptop itself).
Will something like this (TobenONE DisplayLink Docking Station 3 Monitors) (that's https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DSP9K3QR/
) do the trick? If not, what is it missing? Is there anything else I should keep in mind?
