I’m using a dual-monitor setup with my Windows 11 laptop. One monitor is 4K, and the other is 1080p. My issue is that Windows 11 seems to automatically change the display scaling between the monitors, which messes up my layout when I drag windows from one screen to another.
For example, when I move a window from the 4K monitor to the 1080p monitor, the text and icons become too small or too large, and it’s really annoying to manually adjust the scaling each time.
I’ve checked the settings for "Display Scaling" in the display settings, but Windows seems to keep switching it based on some internal logic that I don’t fully understand. Is there a way to stop this from happening and set a fixed scaling value for each monitor?
I’d really appreciate any tips or tricks to fix this!
