Until recently I was able to extend or duplicate my display to a TV or monitor using an HDMI cable. Now it is not working.
When I go to Project/Display settings and click "Duplicate" or "Extend" or any of the other options the option highlights as though I've clicked it, then de-selects to indicate that choice is no longer active and nothing changes. It always switches back to "PC Screen Only".
I have updated Windows, adjusted settings, reset the laptop, tried different HDMI cables: nothing works.
How do I get my external display working again?
